She's stunning, intelligent and perfect figure. She is none other than the winner of the Miss Sri Lanka 2009 beauty pageant, Gamya Wijayadasa . In addition to her brains, she is a good dancer. Gamya flown down from Australia for the Derana Veet Miss Sri Lanka 2009 competition. According to her, she was a presenter at Melbourne’s community Radio station ‘Radio 3 ZZZ’ where she also dabbled in journalism by producing a Sinhala magazine with another partner at Showtime.

Gamya studied for her BSc in Psychology and just finished her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She is a fitting example of modern womanhood.

Gamya will represent Sri Lanka for most prestigious beauty contest Miss World 2009 in December and we(SLS) wish her the best.

Nadisha Yapage Sri Lankan Super Model at දෙරණ Dream Star

She's lovely, an equally melodious voice, a million dollar smile and a compact thin figure. She is none other than the winner of the title of 'Miss Congeniality' at Miss Sri Lanka 2009. Nadisha Yapage(born Yapage Nadisha Madushani, July 14, 1990 in Lebanon) is the one of top contestant at දෙරණ Miss Sri Lanka 2009 beauty pageant. She become the most famous, friendly and best loved faces in this beauty pageant. Watch දෙරණ TV on this Saturday October 10, she is on stage and singing in Derana Dream Star. Nadisha is just over 5 feet 7 inches tall and has a very thin figure. She has featured on the cover of magazines, TV commercials and wide array of Fashion Shows in Sri Lanka. She is not stereotype beauties, she's a muti talented star in Sri Lanka. Her appearance in Dialog commercial was remarkable.

Nadisha was born in Lebanon and moved to Sri Lanka in 2005. Both her parents from Kegalle and Matara. She was educated at Ecole De La Mission Exemplaire in Lebanon.

Ruwani Weerasooriya

Ruwani Weerasuriya is one of the best contestant at දෙරණ Veet Miss Sri Lanka 2009 beauty pageant. Ruwani won the mini pageant title "Miss Fadna Energetic" of the show.(Source --> Sri Lankan Stars)

Ruwani studied at Hillwood College Kandy and joined American College of Higher Education Kandy for her hiher studies. Then she moved to USA. She come back for Miss Sri Lanka beauty pageant. But unfortunately Ruwani hasn’t got the chance to win this pageant.
